Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when you use Maurice Cakes & Events, including your name, phone number, email address, login profile details, cake order details, marketplace listing details, photos you upload, and support messages.

When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the account information made available by that provider, such as your verified email address and profile name where available.

Orders, Marketplace, and Payments

We use order information to prepare, deliver, manage, and support cake and event orders. Marketplace seller and listing information is used to show listings, review seller activity, and help buyers contact sellers.

For supported payment flows, we may process phone numbers, payment references, subscription status, and transaction status through our payment providers. We do not intentionally store full payment card details.

Notifications

If you opt in to marketing notifications, we may use your device token to send promotions, offers, marketplace updates, and app updates. You can change notification preferences in the app settings or through your device settings.

How We Use Information

We use your information to provide app features, manage accounts, process orders, review marketplace content, prevent misuse, provide customer support, improve our services, and comply with legal and business record obligations.

Sharing

We may share limited information with service providers who help us operate the app, website, payments, hosting, analytics, authentication, notifications, and customer support. Marketplace contact details you choose to publish may be visible to buyers.

Account Deletion

You can request account deletion from the app under Account Settings. We will delete or anonymize account data where possible, revoke active sessions, deactivate device tokens, and remove marketplace content where appropriate. Some transaction or order records may be retained in anonymized form when needed for business, security, or legal records.
